Objective
To design an eye-catching and festive packaging for the myTrident Utsav bedsheet and towel collection, which appeals to a mass-market audience looking for bright, affordable, and high-quality products during the festive season. The aim is to create packaging that enhances the product’s appeal while maintaining cost-effectiveness and a sense of celebration.
Challenge
The main challenge is to develop packaging that feels festive and attractive, aligning with the brighter, vibrant nature of the Utsav collection, yet remains cost-efficient for a mass-market, budget-friendly product. It needs to be visually appealing, convey quality, and offer practicality for transportation and shelf display, all while ensuring it stands out in the competitive festive market.
Solution
As per market research and trends, I have incorporated traditional miniature illustrations to create a beautiful, tapestry-like front that attracts the mass market. These illustrations will feature characters celebrating with traditional instruments, embodying the spirit of 'Utsav' and adding a touch of cultural authenticity.
Used simple but impactful printing techniques like spot UV & gold foiling to add a touch of luxury without excessive costs.
Design the box to be sturdy, sustainable and easy to stack, ensuring safe transport and storage. Encourage reuse by making the box attractive enough for customers to retain for storage, gifting, or other uses, enhancing brand recall.
